One of the reasons I set up up this blog for was to report on my genealogical research.
I have been unable to collect primary information for a couple of years now, but I was hoping that sooner or later I should be able to do that again.
That hope now has been shattered. I shall never again be able to visit the archives and to enjoy the real pleasure of finding and exploring new trails in my ancestry.
Oh well, bygones are bygones, and it was nice while it lasted.
With my heartfelt thanks to all ophtalmologists who were unwilling or unable to help me, while gladly accepting my euros.
