En Krugman : "... het wordt almaar duidelijker dat er een totale catastrofe moet plaatsvinden om te komen tot politieke actie die verder gaat dan de redding van banken. Maar wanhoop niet: vooral in Europa loert een totale catastrofe om het hoekje."
