Miracles do happen : seen with 100% hindsight my pîtch black pessimism concerning my trip by train to Bordeaux was totally injustified. The trains travelled almost perfectly on time ..

And once more I have proven what forecasts and projections by economists are worth in real life.
The destination of my trip was Lourdes where I wanted to celebrate Christmas ; it was the seventh time I went there. This trip is an escape far from al the poked up festivities, schmalz, kitsch, carols, lights, false sentiments and sentimentality of Christmas time and of the wrong doings of father Christmas and his gang.
If only real people could be in the real Christmas mood all year long ...
