I never was a firm believer in the Kondratieff cycle. At university, it was "de bon ton" to smile knowingly when someone mentioned it. Nowadays, you'll find it in all forms and shapes on the internet. And of course, statistics will be statistics : one can prove almost anything with the darn things.
Still, little by little, I have come to see some possible truth in the very long cycle.
The one above illustrates that we might be in for a very long "winter" ... If this cycle comes trough, it is statistically highly improbable that I shall see another period of improvement and prosperity in my lifetime : although ... there are options, vile options, but options indeed.
