D-Day

"D-Day: Operation Overlord lands 400,000 Allied American, British, and Canadian troops on the beaches of  Normandy in German-occupied France."

Just try to imagine what would have happened if the USA had left us under the Nazi boot. Our eternal gratitude goes to those who gave their lives or health for our freedom, and to their families. They fought for a better and juster world.

And it is utterly painful to see how certain political movements and religions are now openly aggressing the human and moral values that were defended at such a terrible cost during the second world war. Please note that I did not mention the economic and financial interests and values.
