Nationalism

"I do not believe that the values which the Western democracies consider essential to civilization can survive in a world rent by the international anarchy of nationalism and the economic anarchy of competitive enterprise."

This was true in Arthur Henderson's time. It is true now. And the excesses of nationalism and of competitive enterprise are growing like malignant cancers. If nothing is done about it, then, sooner or later, mankind will die of their consequences.
