A well intended initiative. A totally useless one too : it looks like carrying a bucket of water to the ocean. Is there one single hungry person in the world who never again will go hungry because of this day ? I sincerely wish I were wrong, but I don't think so.
Social justice is and remains impossible in a greed and profit driven world. The fight against greed is the front on which we should focus !
