Making and keeping friends is a lot of trouble and hard work. Most of the time, I can't be bothered. The returns do not justify the investment.
Like many other words it has been denatured and devalued by our superficial politically correct society.
True friends are very few and far between. And by definition, they're worth caring and fighting for.
